Market Regulatory Administration of Jiangsu Province has recently rolled out several measures to support high-quality development at China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Nanjing Area, among which 17 tailor-made ones are targeted at promoting high-quality development at a faster pace by turning Nanjing Area into a pioneering area for indigenous innovation, a demonstration area for modern industries and an important platform for opening up and cooperation with international influence.
These measures are firstly precise ones that are supportive to a series of newly-introduced market regulatory measures at Nanjing Area including inspection and testing, business registration and administrative licensing. Secondly, five of the measures will be taken in the province for the first time, including setting up an external supervising mechanism comprising “big data + think tank + joint governance by the society” for review of fair competition, establishing an overseas platform for purchasing Reference Product and its relevant service, and conducting registration and examination for medical apparatus and instruments at the Metrology Testing Center in Nanjing Area. Thirdly, these measures well fit the reality in Nanjing. The pilot program to further implement the notification and commitment system for approval of patent agency licensing, and a patent review service for the energy conservation and environmental protection industry newly introduced by China (Nanjing) Intellectual Property Protection Center will be the first two to be trialed at Nanjing Area.
These measures, expected to be fully implemented by the end of November this year, are conducive to making Nanjing Area a hub of innovative policy-making for realization of high-quality development.
